The UFC has a jam-packed schedule and this Wednesday we are getting what should be an entertaining fight between Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige at the UFC Fight Island on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. There will not be fans in attendance because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Calvin Kattar is 5-2 in the UFC. He has TKO wins against Shane Burgos, Chris Fishgold and Ricardo Lamas. Kattar knocked out Jeremy Stephens in the second round of his fight at UFC 249 on May 9th.

Kattar hasn’t had a submission since World Championship Fighting 7 on June 27th, 2009.His fight plan is clear and his path to victory involves his elite striking. Kattar’s wrestling defense can be enough to neutralize Ige’s offense.
Ige will possibly try to wrestle his way into victory but Kattar has been susceptible to leg kicks and that’s something to Ige should know and exploit. At the end of the day, Ige has been unstoppable but he‘s never faced anyone like Kattar.
