Some PPH Reports and Sites are Better Than Others
Pay per head (PPH) companies provide bookies with different reports on a weekly or monthly basis. Some of them show a bookie’s current financial position and the number of regular active players it has. The following are five reports that you need to check frequently.
1. Wagers Report
The report is itemized into business units. Some of these reports allow PPH agents to erase bets from them. So, it is prudent to identify business units that have the most action while making major financial decisions.
For instance, the bookie report can state that punters only wager on Tuesday night National Football League (NFL) soccer games. So, the agent cannot send the next weekend’s NFL matches.
2. Hold percentage
An agent sees the gross amount earned from sub-agents and gamblers. It provides a breakdown of all profits made in a week. You can get a hold percentage report any time either by individual players and the bet type.
3. Bet Ticker
Many PPH websites post a wide array of features and reports. Thus, it is wise to ask your pay per head provider the function of each feature as you might need specific features. The Bet Ticker tab is located beneath the Common column on the left side of your screen when you log into your PPH account.
The Ticker tab will direct you to a Bet Ticker Screen. You will see a long list of open bets that are properly arranged in the last 24 hours. This section has the highest number of the latest bets placed.
You can see a Highlight by wager amount. Click at the top of the screen to view various bet sizes and colors.
The extra feature in Bet Ticker helps you differentiate small bets and sized wagers. It selects colors based on each bet’s possible payout and risk.
Bets ranging from 1 to 200 are gray and aren’t highlighted. Those ranging from 201 and 499 are light orange as they have risk.
Bets ranging from 500 to 999 are light yellow. Moreover, wagers with a possible payout of $1 and are red or pink.
An agent can combine the Highlighting and Bet Ticker features to track each bet that punters make and their time. You will remain logged into a site when you leave the screen open on a computer, phone, or tablet.
You can use the feature to monitor gamblers who get line adjusters after placing bets and those placing similar plays together. You will get regular updates on games with different actions and activate “move lines” if a particular game has a lot of action.
4. Live Betting
Bookie agents need to understand and analyze live wagering reports properly. They contain unique information that other reports lack. Some premier software plans have extra live wagering reports.
5. The Weekly Balance
The report is available in the back-end reports section of your PPH account or the left-hand side section below the Common Column. Tap the Weekly Balance icon to choose a specific week, account, distributor, agent, casino, horse racing, or sports. Many agents choose the current week and active players.
Two Weekly Balance reports will appear once you choose the specific weekly balance that you want to view including a Grand Total report. It combines and simplifies all punters’ daily stakes. The report shows different dollar values daily.
Negative numbers are red while positive figures are black. Black numbers show the total payouts you made on a particular day while red ones show the total losses that all players incurred in a day.
PPH agents prioritize satisfying their clients’ needs. Some of them aspire to own huge sportsbooks. Even so, it is important to understand different pay per head reports to informed decisions when expanding your business.
