Paradise City reopened Wednesday. It came days after the casino resort announced its indefinite closure due to confirmed coronavirus infection. According to local news, six staff members were tested positive for the virus.
The casino posted the announcement on its website. However, the new bulletin only mentioned one confirmed case of infection. Also, the statement showed that management carried out a precise and high-intensity quarantine according to local regulations.
Management of Paradise City tested all employees, including outsourcing workers. They will allow workers with negative results to return to work. That way, they can prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Paradise City Reopened Wednesday
The announcement from Paradise City didn’t mention how many workers tested positive for the coronavirus. Some non-gaming facilities of Hotel Paradise reopened Wednesday, including the Art Space, La Scala Garden Café, Plaza, Lounge Paradise, Kids Zone, outdoor pool, and the safari park.
However, Chroma, Wonderbox, and Cimer would remain closed. The good news is that foreign gamblers have access to all popular casino games. The announcement mentioned that they closed the other non-gaming facilities to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
According to South Korean authorities, the country recorded 156 new cases of the virus. Thus, the total number of infections went up to 21,588. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the total number of death in South Korea is 344 based on online casinos reports.
Paradise City opened near the Incheon International Airport in 2017. It has a hotel and a casino. However, the casino is only for foreign guests. Since its opening, the casino resort added non-gaming facilities to attract more non-gamblers.
