The Seattle vs Detroit game felt like a sure win for the Mariners, despite Yuseo Kikuchi’s bad start. The team played well and made baseball fun again for fans. Even though they lost their 3-1 lead in the fourth inning, they came up on top while having fun.
Kikuchi gave out five runs on nine hits in just 3.1 innings. Two of those were home runs. As a result, he was replaced by Zac Grotz to try to salvage the game for the team. However, he threw a wild pitch that allowed a runner to score. At the bottom of the fifth inning, the score was 6-3 in favor of the Tigers.
Just like that, many baseball betting experts wrote the game off as a win for the Tigers. However, Seattle had other plans for the game. They scored six runs in the sixth inning. Kyle Seager hit a home run with two runners. Then Tom Murphy hits another homer. Tim Lopes had a line-drive double that allowed Dee Gordon to score. Mallex Smith hit a double to send Tim Lopes home.
Baseball Fun with Mariners
In just an inning, the Mariners were back on top with a three-run lead. If you bet MLB overs for the game, you’ve already won at this point. However, the team knew a three-point lead is not safe with their pitching.
Seager hit another homer to start the ninth inning. Later, he had another go at-bat. He scored another solo home run. It was his first three-homer game. In fact, he is only the 11th Mariner to achieve it. Baseball betting predictions didn’t expect this performance from Seager.
Although Tigers sports betting fans might be thinking the opposite, Mariners made baseball fun with the game. Not only did they score a lot of runs, but they also had fun in their dugout. They celebrated each run as if it was an important game for them.
