Valorant is Riot Games’ new tactical shooter is making waves in the beta stage. Get ready for it to be the next major e-sport title. It’s a game in which breaking viewership records and leading the charts by a wide range of all-time in Twitch.
The game is closed beta (access is available by watching the game on Twitch) since April 7. It has a massive hype train and following it since it was known as “Project A.” Also, it seems to be on the path to be the next big title according to e-sports betting sources.
What is Valorant?
Valorant is a 5-vs-5 tactical shooter. It has a core gameplay element of the legendary esports title, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. And the character selection as well as ability usage of other claims like Overwatch and League of Legends.

What are Valorant’s Core Rules?

The attack team’s goal is to plant the “spike” (bomb) in one of a few designated areas. In which some maps have two, and others have three. Then, the defending team’s goal is to prevent the attacking team form successfully bombing or defusing the spike after it has planted.
The round will be over if any team kills all five members of the opponent prior planting of the spike. However, the defending team must defuse the spike in time to win the round. It is only when the defending team kills all five members of the attacking team after the spike is planted. Furthermore, there is a 100-second round timer for the attacking team to plant the spike or kill all five defenders. If the attacking team unable to do either, before the time runs out, the defending team wins the round.
At the beginning of each round, each player has a certain amount of money. Players can spend on guns, armor, and abilities. If you do not die, you keep your gun for the next round.
